Budalang’i MP Ababu Namwamba has told Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang'ula to ensure that they are named NASA flag bearer or quit the coalition.
Namwamba said that the Luhya community had been supporting other communities and that it was time they received the same support from others.
He urged Mudavadi and Wetang'ula not to accept to go second to anyone else in the run for State House.
"Let my brothers Mudavadi and Wetang'ula stand ground and demand to be supported to fly the NASA flag," he said.
"For how long will members of the Luhya community support others? If they are not ready, let them make it public so that I start my preparations for 2022," he added.
He was speaking at Kimait in Bungoma West sub-county on Sunday after he opened a Labour Party office in Bumula.
Last year, Namwamba defected from ODM citing internal frustrations and relaunched the Labour Party of Kenya (LPK) which is currently supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election in the 2017 general polls.
