After a series of Twitter outbursts and public rallies onslaught, nominated Senator Millicent Omanga reconciled with outspoken Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias babu Owino.
The two were sworn enemies amid post election crisis precipitated by rivalry between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
At Oridi secondary school in Homa Bay on Sunday, the two leaders exchanged pleasantries and publicly declared intention to work together.
"At times we have to recollect ourselves and drop bitterness. We are a family and I will work with my sister Omanga," Owino said.
On her part, Omanga added: "In politics, sometimes we go ballistic but we are friends. All we want now is unity and I am happy that we are now working together."
Area Women Rep Gladys Wanga played integral role in uniting the two as a crowd cheered in the unusual meeting.
In one of her tweets, Omanga had vowed to 'circumcise' Babu if he continued with onslaught against President Uhuru Kenyatta.
