The officer, Police Constable Abdi Galgalo of Sultan Hamud Police Station was captured on video by a motorist while directing traffic on a flooded section of the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.

Through a tweet posted on the National Police Service’s official Twitter handle, Mr. Boinnet said Constable Galgalo’s action exemplifies the selfless service rendered by many officers to Kenyans on a daily basis.

Constable Galgalo was seen assisting stranded motorists who were driving through the flooded section of the Mombasa road.

“IG @JBoinnet commends Police Constable Abdi Galgalo of Sultan Hamud Police Station captured by a motorist while directing traffic on a flooded section of the Nairobi/Mombasa highway. His action exemplifies the selfless service rendered by many officers to Kenyans each day,” said the police service on their twitter account.
