Estranged lawyer Miguna Miguna could be on his way back to the country despite sanctions by Kenyan government, Mars Group activist Al Amin Kimathi has revealed.
For months now, human rights groups have been pushing for his return despite being banned forever by Immigration Department.
On his Twitter account, Mr. Kimathi, one of veteran activists in Kenya, however, did not reveal the exact date and month Miguna Miguna is set to make his return.
"Miguna Miguna is coming back home. Do not ask me my source. Just take it to your bank," he said.
In response, Miguna Miguna said: "Banked comrade with African Consolidated Bank, Nairobi branch. Viva."
In his recent tweets, Miguna Miguna has linked opposition chief Raila Odinga to his woes despite being among the crew that swore him as people's president.
Recently, Nairobi County Assembly rejected Miguna's name after he was fronted by governor Mike Sonko as his deputy.
