Former Machakos SenatorJohnstone Muthama has weighed in on media reports that a deal obligating ODM not to field a presidential candidate in 2022 exists.

Muthama said that the issue was being brought up by Jubilee propagandists to feed the conspiracy that NASA was on the verge of breaking up.

''It is Jubilee that is trying to play those cards to portray that there are differences. What are we trying to achieve by bringing it up,'' said Muthama.

Muthama was speaking today in a television interview.

His words come amidst rising tensions within NASA in the aftermath of Raila Odinga's swearing-in that was boycotted by other NASA principals.

The principals have been hard-pressed to downplay talk of disunity within NASA.
