The 44-year-old MP from Narok is now off the singles club after he put a ring on Nayia Ntutu, a Nairobi-based lawyer from Narok County.

Ngeno’s marital status has been a subject of discussion and just recently, he said that political opponents were trying to use it against him to the electorate.

He announced early this year that his plans to marry would have to wait until he was done with his political career.

But, according to Tuko, the MP has given in to pressure from friends, family and fellow politicians to marry ahead of the 2017 General Election.

Photos published by the site show the MP and his bride adding that the two have been in a relationship for two years.

Narok Governor Samuel Tunai attacked the MP in February this year urging him to marry first before criticising the bicameral parliament.

Ngeno said he would get married before the 2017 General Election due to pressure from his elderly mother who longs to have grandchildren from him.

In an interview with the Nation, he said the delay in finding a wife was due to his education and building his career which had complicated his dating life.
