Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula now says Raila Odinga has since joined Jubilee government ahead of his retire in 2022.
For months now, Wetangula has been taking Raila head-on following his ouster as Senate Minority Leader.
And in Nyamira on Friday, an agitated Wetangula dismissed claims that Raila is still the opposition leader.
"Let no one lie to you. I want to assure you that Raila has since joined Jubilee. President Uhuru persuaded him to join fellow cartels.
"He is not the opposition leader. We should wish him well in Jubilee as he prepares for his retire in 2022," said Wetangula.
In most of his speeches, Raila has often dismissed claims that he now fully serves in Jubilee administration.
Although he has refuted claims of working with Jubilee, Raila has however taken over negotiation roles in South Sudan as Kenya's special envoy.
