Police are investigating an incident in which a fire razed down a section of offices belonging to the Kenya Ferry Services (KFS) offices in Mombasa.
Confirming the Tuesday incident, Likoni OCPD Benjamin Rotich said the security personnel in the county are investigating the matter, but the cause of the fire remains unclear.A senior officer at the facility has however said that the fire might have been caused by an electric fault.Property of unknown value including computers and furniture was destroyed in the fire."We want to get more details on the same but our officers suspect it was caused by an electric fault,” said KFS Managing Director Bakari Gowa, as quoted by the Nation.
