A revenue office belonging to the Vihiga County government has been completely destroyed following an arson attack.

Police officers have said they found a bottle containing kerosene at the scene, which is believed to have been used to start the fire.

According to Capital FM, the fire which started at the revenue office, broke out at 1 am on Friday, before spreading to other departments.

Police have launched investigations to determine if county officials were involved in the incident.
