Harambee Stars and Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama holds the enviable record of being the first and only Kenyan to score against Spanish Giants Barcelona.
He achieved the landmark while playing for Scottish giants Celtic on the 7th of November, 2010.
Celtic won that match by 2-1 despite having an overall possesion of less than 25 percent.
Celtic had been pitted in the same group as the Catalan club in the historic 2012/13 season for Wanyama.
He also helped contain the threat posed by the likes of Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Xavi in a star studded Barca lineup that was also the defending champions in their domestic league.
The powerful Central Midfielder could however do nothing in the reverse fixture after they were hammered by four goals without a reply.
Celtic would also go on to win the Scotish Premiership during that season but their performance in Europe was dismal.
Wanyama performed well in playing all the group games of Celtic's Champions League campaign that season. He was also a popular member in the starting eleven of all of Celtic's domestic Cup competitions.
His performances meant English club Southampton came calling for his services and snapped him up for a whooping £12.5 million.
He moved to St.Marys and then later to current club Tottenham hotspurs that will also be playing in the Champions League next season.
