Empowerment of women is one of my priorities in the next five years, and I promise to work with Uhuru Kenyatta and the Jubilee Government to do all we can to support the efforts of women like Mrs Nkaiserry and others who devote their time to uplift their community’s livelihoods. Let me also pay special recognition to all the women leaders here today, for your bold and decisive step, against many odds, to become champions in the political world so that you can be the voice of millions of women. You give hope and inspiration to our girls that leadership in any role is available to us through our collective action and support for one another. As I conclude, I urge us all to stand together, committed as women to safeguard our vote, because our vote counts. We have the power to ensure that we move forward as a Nation to a future of hope, opportunity and transformation. That is the promise from Uhuru Kenyatta; that is the promise of Jubilee. I earnestly urge every woman to stand firm and choose to re -elect Uhuru Kenyatta for President. Let us also continue to pray earnestly for a peaceful election period.
