Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo is the brain child of Raila Odinga's new push for restoration of constitutionalism, says an insider who sort anonymity since he is not authorized to hold brief for the NASA coalition.
Having pulled out of the October elections, Odinga has been facing challenges on how to push for his agenda that includes sacking of IEBC officials among other reforms.
But with elections now over without his input, Odinga has converted his NASA to a resistance movement as he takes on President Uhuru Kenyatta's government.
"There were lots of opposition among them secession but Otiende first introduced the resistance idea and it seems to be working," says the source
"Boycotts will hit companies which are regime friendly and protests will force the regime to listen to the voice of people. They are constitutional and no one can challenge."
Already, NASA has identified communication giant Safaricom, Bidco and Brookside are among companies that have been hit by NASA's boycott threats.
Otiende, a former Commissioner for Administration of Oaths, was among the legal team that successfully overturned Uhuru Kenyatta's reelection in August.
