Area chief Christopher Omanga who led the operation also burnt plastic containers used in manufacturing the brews and also said he was going to ensure illicit brew in the location becomes history.

“The government will not relent in its efforts to stop the brewing and consumption of illicit brews in the country," he warned.

He said he will ensure that all those involved in brewing the illicit brew are arrested and arraigned in court.

“Alcoholism has been dragging our location behind in terms of development and all we want is to ensure that we end it so that we can have a fast developing nation,” he added.
