Five people were on Thursday arraigned before an Eldoret court where they faced defilement charges.The five, Evans Kimalach Kipkitkai, David Ochieng, Gideon Manyenya Ashingole, Sila Kibet and Abraham Kipkurgat appeared Bede Principal Magistrate Harrison Barasa.The Prosecution told the court that suspects committed the crime separately and on different dates between 10th to 25th of January this year within Eldoret town.The suspects denied all the charges leveled against them and were released on sh100,000 bond each.During the mention of the cases, the magistrate raised concerns over increased cases of defilement in the region and warned that suspects who will be found guilty would face the full force of the law."The law will not spare those committing crimes. To be on the safer side, residents should follow the law," Barasa said.The cases will be mentioned on February 13th and 14th this year.
