Four men died have died Sunday morning after the car they were travelling in hit a stationary lorry in Juja.
They were in a private car headed for Narobi when the Thika Road accident occurred at Ndarugo area.
The lorry they rammed into was carrying bricks and was also to travel to Nairobi.
While confirming the incident, Juja OCPD Patricia Narsio said that the victims got trapped in the wreckage where they died on the spot.
"It's not clear why they didn't see the lorry. A sign had been placed several metres from the truck," Narsio said.
The OCPD added that the bodies were taken to Gen Kago mortuary and that officers have launched investigations.
In another incident, one person on Friday night died near the Witeithie stage on the same superhighway.
