Always learn to be yourself and never change your personality or behaviour just to fit in.Learn to say noThis will be hard at first, but eventually, you will realise it is the best thing to do. Learn to say no to bad ideas being suggested by your fellow students. Always stick to your gut, there’s nothing wrong with saying no.It is Ok to be confusedCollege is a place to learn new things. Not everyone usually has everything figured out when they join campus. Some things may be out of your control, however, it is important to seek advice on issues you find tricky to handle. Talk to people who have graduated from campus as they will give you advise on how to tackle different challenges in college.Don't forget your faithYour schedule in college will be different from your home schedule and you might find yourself not getting time to attend church. It is, however, important to dedicate some time to read the Bible as this will keep you grounded and help you build your faith. You can also join the Christian Union and learn how to remain a Christian even as you go through university. It's OK to spend time aloneSpending your college life with friends is a good thing, as you share ideas and fun moments with each other. However, it is no crime to be alone. You can sit alone in the library and read, sit alone in your room and watch movies, play games or listen to music or even treat yourself to a coffee date. This alone time will help you reflect on your life.
