The baby growing inside a woman’s womb gets unwell too. However, it is hard to tell when it gets unwell as there is no way you could examine it. A woman is supposed to take good care of herself which will be providing protection for the baby inside her. Good care includes eating well-balanced diet meals, doing certain exercises and living a good lifestyle. To tell whether the baby inside a woman belly is not well, there are crucial signs a woman will portray.
Here are five signs that show the unborn baby is not doing well:
No movementThe baby should kick several times in a day after 20 weeks of pregnancy. If your baby is not kicking as much, then this means it is under some stress. A normal pregnancy should have the baby kicking at least 10 kicks every 2 hours. Get checked if your baby isn’t as lively which means something could be wrong with you affecting it.
No heartbeatThe baby’s heartbeat can be heard from the 10th week of pregnancy. A normal and healthy baby give audible heartbeats when a doctor positions a sound sensor closer to the belly. However, when there is no heartbeat, it could mean the environment is unfriendly or the baby is unwell due to some stress factors.
BleedingBleeding during pregnancy is the most dreaded thing. It could mean a miscarriage, one of the worst news for a pregnant woman. However, some bleeding could be due to hormonal imbalances, which is normal. Other times it could be due to some placenta-related problems. This means the baby will have to come early than expected.
CrampsCramps only come when a woman is experiencing her periods. Cramps during pregnancy means something is wrong. If you get unbearable cramps during pregnancy, this simply means your body is going through rapid changes which should not worry you. Cramps could also mean you are likely to get an early labour, a miscarriage or illness.
Unusual dischargeDuring pregnancy, a woman is expected to have a colorless and odorless discharge. However, if a woman experiences blood, this could mean something is wrong with her which could be affecting the baby. Too much pain down there means something is wrong too.
