Five people were injured on Friday night after their car lost control and landed into a ditch.
Witnesses said the driver and everyone on board was drunk.
They also accused the driver of overspeeding as they headed to Nyaura village from Kisii town.
"They had alcohol bottles in their car. In fact everyone including the driver were heavily drank," said Alex Osoro, a witness.
Locals also asked the County Government to repair roads in the area saying they were in a deplorable condition.
A week ago, seven passengers died on the spot after a probox car they were travelling in got involved in an accident along the Kisii- Keroka road.
Nyaura area chief, Daniel Onkara asked drivers and boda boda riders to drive carefully to avoid causing accidents.
"Please be careful on these roads. Driving when drunk is equally dangerous," said Onkara.
The casualties, who had multiple broken limbs, were taken to Kisii level six hospital.
