Five Kenyans have been picked for the inaugural Future Leaders Connect initiative by the British Council.

The five include Tim Kipchumba, Simon Ndirangu, Simon Wanda, Lucy Radoli and Victoria Mwirichia.

They will join 50 other global finalists given an opportunity to engage with leading public figures in the UK to share personal vision on how they plan to solve global challenges.

The five will discuss major global policy issues in the House of Parliament, engage with inspiring leaders, tour some of the UK’s leading international institutions and work together to produce innovative policy recommendations.

“The initiative is part of the British Council’s commitment to better life for future generation through sound global policies,” said Tony Reilly, Country Director, British Council.

The program targets youth between the age of 18 and 35.
