Opposition leader Raila Odinga's Wednesday speech highlighted a number of aspects as he changes tact in his quest for social change in the country.
Having bolted out of the presidential race and with the Supreme Court failing to hear a case seeking to stop Thursday's poll, Odinga has now reverted to 'civil disorder' in the hope that his persistent call for electoral reforms will take place.
A divided electoral body IEBC had maintained that elections will go on despite mass boycott in regions perceived to be opposition stronghols.
As part of his long quest for democracy, Odinga said, his NASA movement will change to 'National Resistance Movement' to push for social democracy.
In his address, he pointed out five key issues which his coalition will embark on despite the outcome of presidential repeat poll.
The National Super Alliance Movement would transform to National resistance Movement as a move to cause civil disorder against Jubilee government.
He said he will embark on national campaigns of defiance of illegitimate governmental authority and non cooperation with all its organs.
On economic progress, he said the movement will boycott goods and services offered by the businesses for whose dictatorship is being established.
Furthermore, he said NASA will convene people's assembly for the purpose of charting the way back to democracy and subsequent holding of elections in three months time.
