An official statement from the ODM disciplinary committee chairman Fred Athuok has stated that the fate of five politicians involved in chaos in Migori, Mathare and Orange House will be determined on Thursday.
The leaders who are currently having their fingers crossed include Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang, Nominated Senator Elizabeth Ongoro, Migori governor Okoth Obado, Suna East MP Junet Mohammed, and Migori gubernatorial aspirant Ochillo Ayacko.
Athuok said the deliberations by the disciplinary committee will be made public on Thursday.
"The committee is now in the process of making a report that will be made public after a meeting with the committee on Thursday 13th, April at Orange House," reads part of the statement.
It is, however, a reprieve for Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho who has been acquited of any wrong doing.
Migori governor Okoth Obado, his Mombasa counterpart Hassan Joho, aspirant Ochillo Ayacko, and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed were involved in a chaos at the Migori Posta grounds on Monday last week, where Joho's bodyguard sustained gunshot wounds
In the other incident, nominated Senator Elizabeth Ongoro's supporters clashed with Tj Kajwang's supporters in Mathare over who should be nominated for the Ruaraka parliamentary seat, a discourse that extended to the Orange House offices.
