Five suspects who were arraigned in a Nakuru court last week over allegations that they are connected to the murder of a Nakuru businessman were today also arraigned in Nakuru court but denied charges
Before lady Justice Roselyn Korir were Gladys Wambui, Rahab Mukenye, Alex Okwemba, James Muhonja and Nicholas Madegu who were charged in a packed court with the murder of the renowned businessman Julius Kimani on December 1, 2017, at Manyani estate, Nakuru County.
The accused's lawyers led by Wambei Makomere urged the court to grant favorable bond terms to the accused persons but family lawyer Wahome Thuku objected granting the bond to the accused persons
The prosecutor said he intends to line up 15 witnesses
Justice Korir said the application for bond be heard on Wednesday be heard Wednesday and the accused persons were remanded at Nakuru GK prisons
