The festive season is a period of celebration.

Avoid drinking and driving. Drive carefully and limit your speed even when in a hurry. 

Cases of death by road accidents have been on the rise this holiday and you should be careful while driving. 

Ensure you have enough sleep before driving and that your vehicle is in good condition.

Eat right

Eat a well-balanced diet. 

Be keen on what and where you eat. 

Don’t eat in a dirty environment that can bring about cholera and make you spend your Christmas day on a hospital bed.

As you set up your Christmas tree be cautious on children. 

Take safety precaution to place wires that can shock out of reach of children

Safeguard your house

Use high-security locks before traveling. Inform your neighbor when leaving and be in touch with your watchman every time

Avoid crowded areas

Terrorist target crowded places. Report suspicious people to the authorities and mark emergency exist while entering buildings.
