Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has banned Muhoroni Stadium.

This is after chaos erupted at the stadium on Saturday during a SportPesa Premier League clash between Muhoroni Youth FC and Nzoia Sugar FC.

Supporters from both sides clashed in a match the visitors moved to a 3-0 victory.

FKF CEO, Robert Muthomi wrote to his Kenyan Premier League counterpart to inform them of the action.

“Over the years there has been various reports of cases of violence occurring during matches played at the Muhoroni Football Stadium, home of Muhoroni Youth FC.

“The Kenyan Premier League through its judicial body the IDCC is supposed to have ensured that these cases are investigated and action taken on those found culpable of propagating this violence,” Muthomi wrote in the communiqué.
