Football Kenya Federation has been challenged to monitor officiating of the Kenya Premier League.
Bandari FC assistant Coach George Owoko has called on the football governing body to improve officiating of KPL matches.
Owoko was speaking in the wake of his side's 2-1 defeat to Ulinzi Stars.
According to the tactician, his players worked well in the match but the officiating was not good.
He has advised the Federation to monitor closely how referees officiate the matches so as to avoid repetition of mistakes.
"The federation should work on officiating. During Gor Mahia match Boniface Olouch did the same thing that Obungu did but he was red carded while Bonny was not sent off. To improve the game they must deal officiating issues. They can improve the coaches, the game but if they don't work on refereeing their will no progress. They can avoid announcing referees very early and then they should have a representative who observes what the referees do on match days. In these match the referee made blunders, he had a fixed mind because he was awarding us free kicks in the midfield but was assuming when our players got fouled near the 18 yard box,"he is quoted Futaa.
"Performance was however good whenever they attacked we managed reply. And the boys working spirit was high," he added.
Bandari FC are now placed third on the League Standings.
