Flashy city lawyer Donald Kipkorir has made a bold statement about politicians who join politics and ride on National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga's name.
According to Kipkorir, the 'nondescripts' ride on Raila's name, get elected and build a name for themselves thereby getting a national profile.
In a tweet on Saturday however, Kipkorir faulted the politicians for switching sides by hurling insults at the opposition chief.
In his view, hurling insults at one's teacher can only result in a short-lived success.
"One Political Truth in Kenya: Nondescripts join politics & riding on Baba’s name, get elected or nominated or simply build their names & get national profile, then switch sides by hurling insults on Baba everyday ... Betrayal of one’s Teacher can only bring transient success," tweeted Kipkorir.
The lawyer also commented on the nullification of Babu Owino's August election victory as Embakasi East legislator and he believes High Court's ruling can be overturned because of the reasons were given out by the judge.
"Have now read in full the 63 page Judgment nullifying the Election Of my friend Babu Owino .... The Judge nullified the results on mainly two grounds: Violence in one Polling Station out of 207 Stations & intimidation of the RO .. If appealed, the Judgment will be overturned," reiterated Kipkorir.
