Tiatty MP William Kamket has slammed Deputy President William Ruto over what he(Kamket) called a stage-managed visit to retired President Daniel Moi at Kabarak on Thursday.
In an interview, Kamket said the Deputy President did not follow the right procedure in order to see Moi.
“ Moi has many officers paid by the state and to that point he should have used them to access him, “ he said.
The Tiatty legislator called on on Ruto to up his political game, adding that the 2022 presidential contest will be a tight race between Ruto and Baringo senator Gideon Moi.
He said Ruto should not consider himself the king of Kalenjin politics adding that the community has little to take pride in for the period Ruto has served as Deputy President.
Kamket said Gideon has no powers to deny anyone from seeing his father.
