Kenta said Duale’s constant criticism of leaders from Narok who support Jubilee amounted to an insult on part of the Maasai community.
He told President Uhuru Kenyatta to institute disciplinary action against the vocal Garissa Township MP who he described as a 'disrespectful man who visits people’s homes only to end up abusing them'.
Ole Kenta is among Narok politicians supporting National Super Alliance leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid.
“Duale should take his politics to Garissa,” ole Kenta said.
“His language does not befit a leader of his stature. I urge President Uhuru to take disciplinary action against him and he should apologise to the people of Narok for abusing their leaders,” he added.
He also criticised Ruto over his attempts to whip the Narok leadership into supporting Jubilee.
“By law we have the right to choose who to support and vote for,” he said. It is therefore no one’s prerogative to tell us which leader to support,".
Ruto at the Olorropil meeting had hit out at Narok ODM gubernatorial aspirant Tiampati ole Musuni equating him to thankless man.
“I gave ole Musuni a job and instead of appreciating me he left and joined the other group (NASA),” Ruto said.
Residents who spoke to the media after the meeting criticised Duale and Ruto for “publicly attacking” their leaders. They vowed to support NASA.
