Njomo who spoke in Kiambu town on Sunday said that leaders have a responsibility to respect each other despite their different political ideologies.

He said that leaders must act as an example if they want residents to emulate and take them seriously.

“Kiambu leaders must learn to respect each other’s views despite having different opinions and ideas,” said Njomo.

He noted that wrangles witnessed among some county leaders paints Kiambu negatively.

Njomo further asked politicians from the region to focus on service delivery and stop baseless politics which, he says will just ruin development projects in the area.

“It is not yet time to campaign for 2017. Politicians must address problems facing people they represent, since that is what people expect from them,” added Njomo.

He further asked county leaders to spearhead unity and bring people together instead of wasting time on baseless politics.
