Makueni Member of Parliament Daniel Maanzo has insisted that Wiper, Amani National Congress (ANC) and Ford Kenya parties are still in the National Super Alliance (NASA).
Maanzo has however claimed that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has joined the Jubilee party following the Friday meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA chief Raila Odinga.Speaking in Wote town on Saturday, Maanzo, a Wiper MP said Suba South MP John Mbadi and his Suna East counterpart Junet Mohammed should relinquish their leader of minority and minority whip leadership positions at the National Assembly following Raila's move.He said those positions should be taken with MPs from wither ANC, Wiper or Wiper."It's evident ODM has joined the Jubilee party so every leader should stay on his lane," said Maanzo. The MP further said during the planned NASA co-principles meeting on Monday, ODM party leader Raila Odinga will be expected to clear the air on his meeting with the President before the other principals "decide on what to do next".He reiterated that Raila-Uhuru meeting was an ODM affair and not the coalition's decision.Maanzo spoke after meeting the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairperson Wafula Chebukati who had toured IEBC offices in Wote town.
