"Maseno has a high population majorly students, and if hygiene is not considered, then diseases such cholera will hit us, that is something we are here to prevent," said Wangulu.

Wangulu was speaking in Maseno during an inspection tour.
During the inspection, a majority of the open air food vendors vanished upon realizing that inspectors were around.
"Those who have escaped, we are going to come up because when it comes to matters health we cannot relent. I therefore warn those who have escaped that their day are actually numbered," said Wangulu.
