Ford Kenya Migori county branch party chairman Odhiambo Migore said the meeting organisers only invited the Luhya and ignored other tribes residing in the region something that did not go well with many.

"He went to meet the Luhya community but here in Anjego we also have the Luo community," he said.

"So we had a section of Luo community that felt offended for non inclusion. So next time when he plans to have such meetings he should involve everyone. When someone is soliciting for votes everyone should be brought on board."

He further said it was wrong for Mr Wetangula to visit the region without informing the party officials.

He said it was surprising that he only learnt of the meeting from the locals.

"I tried hard myself to reach where they were on Anjego. A leader can't be a leader without party officials and supporters," said the disappointed Migure.

He called on Mr Wetangula to respect all party officials countrywide and be ready to unite them in every function he plans in future.
