Ford-Kenya has stepped up to boost the numbers of its supporters and members by starting its online registration in Kisii today.
The party which launched an online registration system in less than two weeks ago will allow interested Kenyans to join the party as members.
The launch is among the initiatives the party is putting in place to ensure that its party leader gathers enough support before the 2017 General Elections.
Addressing Suneka residents early today Kisii branch Chairperson Evans Manduku said that over one million new members will be registered before 2017.
Manduku maintained that the party will be fielding a presidential candidate in 2017 and they are not going to back any person apart from their party leader Moses Wetangula.
The Party official at the same time urged the government to strengthen the office of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) and the Auditor General by allocating more funds to the institutions, to allow them to undertake their functions efficiently.
“The institutions mandated with the task to investigate corruption cases and prosecute have not been able to undertake thorough analysis due to inadequate funds,” he added
He lashed at the Members of Parliament who are blaming the DPP Keriako Tobiko for the collapse of cases, adding that the DPP cannot be able to prosecute individuals whom their cases are weak.
