The Forum for the Restoration of Democracy–People party has said that it will support the Jubilee government in the election without dissolving their party.

Speaking at a Kisii hotel, they said the party is still strong and they will not dissolve it in joining the Jubilee party but they will support the reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“We are not going to dissolve our party since it is still strong, but since we are not going to have a presidential candidate we are going to support the reelection of President Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto,” said Nyaundi.

In addition, he said that the party remains to be strong and any people who are saying that the party does not exist are cheating Kenyans.

“Our party remains strong hence we cannot dissolve it, in the next general election we are going to have candidates for each seat expect the presidential candidate this why we will support Uhuru,” he added.

“As a party we will be in Jubilee roundtable meetings since we have vowed to support them in their presidential bid,” he said.

Former Kitutu Masaba MP Mwancha Okioma who is the party secretary said that they also pledge to remain peaceful and preach peace.
