Heads of Mission in Kenya, have said the whole world will be watching Kenya, as it goes to elect its president on October 26th.
Foreign envoys and High Commissioners, addressed the press, led by US Amb to Kenya Bob Godec and UK High Commissioner to Kenya Nic Hailey, where they said elections should go on as scheduled.
They noted that action should be taken, on those who will go against the law, such as disrupting the exercise.
NASA has warned that there will be no election on the said date, after its leader, Raila Odinga, withdrew his candidature.
"We urge all parties to engage in serious dialogue with IEBC and to cease any interference in its operation," said Godec, Monday afternoon.
They also called on the political partners to support the electoral body, IEBC, and ensure the process is successful.
"We are interested in a credible process and not quick fixes. Elections must be held within 60 days as ordered by the court, any extension of the date must be made only if parties agree."
On matters security, the Heads of Mission said: "We urge security services to protect rights of demonstrators and to use minimum force when seeking to protect lives and property."
