Kapseret MP, Oscar Sudi has told Deputy President William Ruto to forget about the 2022 elections and concentrate on winning 2017 elections. Sudi warned Ruto that he must stop taking the upcoming elections as already won adding that the opposition might surprise them. He urged the DP to focus on winning the 2017 elections first and then plan for 2022. "Ruto is popular in Kenya and we know that but that does not mean he neglect the 2017 elections which have not been won," he said in Nairobi on Monday. The legislator asked the Jubilee Coalition to be wary of 2017 polls. "The DP and Jubilee have to be careful. The race is not yet won until August next year," he added. The DP has been accused of carrying out fierce campaigns to popularise his candidature as he eyes to succeed president Uhuru in 2022 polls.
