Mbai said Mutua is a light political weight who has no muscles to wrestle for the top seat.

Speaking in Kitui on Saturday, Mbai termed Mutua’s bid for 2022 seat as a big joke.

The Jubilee MP said the presidential seat is not easy as the Machakos governor could be thinking.

“Mutua should stop this joke that he wants to be president because he has no muscles to contest for the seat,” he said.

Mbai advised Mutua to save his money and invest it somewhere instead of bidding for the top seat.

He said Mutua does not have political experience for the top seat, adding that Machakos people and Kenyans are treating his bid as a joke.

Governor Mutua has declared interest in the top seat.

The embattled governor says he is fit to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta arguing that his bid is 'people driven'.

Mutua intends to vie for the seat on his Maendeleo Chap Chap party ticket and has dismissed speculations that he will be DP William Ruto’s running mate.

Last week, Mutua revealed that he plans to spend Sh18 billion on his 2022 presidential campaigns.
