Machakos town MP victor Munyaka has told Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to forget about his 2022 presidential bid.
Speaking to journalists and supporters at the Machakos Law Courts on Wednesday, the Jubilee MP said Kalonzo has no political muscles to contest for presidency in 2022.
He said Kalonzo has reduced himself to a political beggar hence no one takes him seriously.
Munyaka said the Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua is the Ukambani’s presidential choice in 2022.
“Kalonzo should stop lying to himself and his supporters that he will be president in 2022 because that dream won’t come true,” Munyaka said.
He said Kalonzo destroyed himself politically when he started associating with NASA leader Raila Odinga.
The MP said Raila has been treating the Wiper leader as a ‘flower girl’, adding that the former Vice President should forget about the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) he signed with the ODM party leader.
Munyaka said Kalonzo's only option of surviving politically is to abandon NASA.
The Machakos MP also cautioned Kalonzo against taking oath as the People’s Deputy President.
He said Kalonzo will ‘kill’ himself politically if he agrees to be sworn in.
Munyaka urged the Ukambani residents not to be fooled by the former Vice President, stating he has nothing to offer to the region.
Kalonzo has been under criticism with Kamba politicians urging him to ditch NASA in order to keep alive his 2022 presidential dreams.
The former Vice President, who skipped Raila Odinga's inauguration as the People's President on January 30, however, maintains that he is in NASA to stay and committed to the coalition's electoral reforms and justice agenda.
