‘It’s impossible to win a Kikuyu lady’s heart without money’. This is a common saying among many men who are only left to admire Kikuyu women but cannot dare to approach them. However, this is just a stereotype and in fact, money doesn’t really determine whether she falls in love with you or not.

Gladys Wariara and Leah Wachuka who are both business women in Lari agree that Kikuyu women hardly look at a man’s pocket size and that money is just an added advantage. Some tips that Leah and Gladys advise men to use when wooing a Kikuyu lady include;

Never boast about your financial worth

Kikuyu ladies already know that many men think they are always after money. As such, they detest any man who tries to prove their worth using the money. ‘I hate it when a man keeps on narrating his financial achievements. It leaves me wondering whether he thinks I will love him for his money’ says Wachuka.

Be a hard worker

Kikuyu ladies are hard working in nature and thus tend to attract hardworking men. For Gladys, she doesn’t mind falling in love with a poor man so long as he is hardworking and positive about the future.

Be responsible

By responsibility, it means being ready to play your role as a man of the house and doing everything possible to provide for your family. ‘Responsible men are hard to come by nowadays. A man will just idle at the shopping center the whole day and in the evening demand food like someone who has been working’ adds Wariara.

According to the two, men only need to up their game and stop using money as an excuse for not dating.
