Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale has told President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto to forget about the Luhya vote saying the elusive Luhya unity has finally been realised.
According to the Senator who spoke during the opposition parties' meeting at the Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi on Wednesday, the coming of the Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi into the Cord coalition fold to form NASA closes the chapter for the Uhuru-led Jubilee in the vote-rich Western region.
The outspoken Senator also questioned the current regime's recent move to re-open the Pan Paper Mills now renamed Rai Paper in Webuye claiming it has since ceased operating four weeks after the re-opening.
He claimed Uhuru's move was political and meant to hoodwink the region into supporting his re-election bid in August.
On the issue of election laws, Khalwale accused the Jubilee administration of changing the negotiated election laws as a ploy to rig the general election.
He further said as the opposition, they will not be cowed by the police even as he accused Interior CS Joseph Nkaiserry of 'misusing' the police.
