Whereas Kibra MP Ken Okoth might have won the last election for a second term to parliament, his constituents are not satisfied with his service delivery.

While reacting to a post he made on Facebook, critics of the MP were quick to remind him to embark on development projects in the area instead of continuing to follow the political unfoldings in the country.

"Mheshimiwa its time to stop politics and work for the people of Kibra. There are so much work to be done. Uwanja, mazingira, barabara, elimu na zingine mingi," said Jidi Clinto Vibrantizzo.

"Mweshimiwa wa wapi huyu kazi yake imemshinda kufanya kazi kufwata watu mkia kwa siasa potovu (Which leader is this that does not do his work and dwells on firing people and misleading politics). Shame on you," Mwarabe Babchuba.

"Mheshimiwa sasa anza kazi achana na siasa umetupa watu wako mda mrefu ata pole yakukula tear gas hakuna we need you," said Mariam Seif Rajab.

This translates as: "Honourable (Okoth) now start working to serve your people whom you have abandoned for long."

Aziza Aziza Leo lamented that the MP was not ready to respond to the complains because he was no longer seeking their vote.

"Leo hajibu ju election period iliisha, isorait (Today you're not responding because the election period is over. It's all right!)

Truphena Lukania argued that the MP was already losing too much support on the ground and that in the next elections things might go south for him.

"2022, asipochunga hana lake."

Hassan Ahmed said: "Nothing to smile about in Kibra. For more than 3 years people have been paying twenty shillings for a jerrycan of water but he can do best is going to demonstrations."

Mwarabe Babchuba was of the opinion that the leader cannot deliver.

"Hawezi saidia chochote mtoto wa nyoka si ni nyoka? Kama Baba wake Raila hakusaidia hizo miaka yote alikua MP Kibra. Wembe ni ule ule kinyozi tu ndio tofauti," he said.

This translates as: "He can't help a thing. If Raila did not deliver in all those years he was Kibra MP, what will he (Okoth) do?"
