Kisii county Governor James Ongwae has been called upon to strengthen his side and form a powerful political alliance that can counter ‘Omogusii Unity’ political wave before it's too late.
According to Marani ward representative Dennis Ombachi, the current politic that is being played in Kisii county needs sobriety and good calculation if he needs to remain as the county boss.
Speaking after a church service on Sunday at Marani PAG Ombachi said that the rising of Omogusii Unity is expected to bring stiff competition come 2017 and said the governor has to put all effort to unite his team.
“Ongwae has to come up with a good strategy that will ensure that he gets to office come 2017 and that will only be achieved if he assembles his side well to tackle ‘Omogusii Unity ‘ team," said Ombachi.
This comes barely after a section of Gusii leaders led by Maangi came up with Omogusii unity movement which is keenly eying the top county seat.
