A member of the Nakuru County Assembly has challenged youths and women to register into various groups so as to benefit from funds set aside for the marginalized groups.
Nominated MCA Joyce Anyiso said youth and women can be economically empowered through registered groups.
Anyiso who was nominated by the Jubilee party to represent interests of the youth and those with special needs in Nakuru county added that her agenda is to ensure every young person as well as women in Nakuru are empowered economically.
This, she said, will help address the issue of unemployment among the youth.
She reiterated the commitment of tse County government i ensuring that the youths and women welfare is taken care of.
"The Nakuru county government under the leadership of Governor Lee Kinyanjui is committed in ensuring youths and women are empowered.I therfore call n women and youths to ensure they register in groups so that they can be economically empowered" she said.
