According to Ongwae, the county finds it difficult to help boda-boda operators when they don’t have a Sacco.

Ongwae challenged boda-boda operators to make sure they form their Saccos to benefit themselves and to be used to get help from county government.

“Many have gone far through Saccos let our boda-boda operators form them to benefit and move ahead, some of you need the county to help them but the county can’t do that if you don’t have a Sacco,” said Ongwae.

“Last time we gave some bodaboda operators motorbikes and they paid back on a monthly basis since they had a Saccos, that is the kind of help my county can give to if bodaboda operators come together,” added Ongwae.
