Ivan Minnaert, former AFC Leopards Coach might be in the running to take over reigns at Ghanaian outfit Hearts of Oak, following the dismissal of Frank Nutall.
According to reports, former Gor Mahia coach acted unethically and was found liable for trying to misadvise players.
He is said to have told the players not to extend their contracts, as they wait on lucrative contracts from European clubs.
Reports going rounds now indicate that Minnaert might be in the running for the job, and he has revealed that he will be willing to take on the Ghanaian giants.
“Hearts of oak is a big name and I always wished to work with the top and best in the country so I was in Mali with Djoliba, in Kenya with AFC Leopards and in Guinea with AS Kaloum," Minnaert told Ghanaian media.
Minnaert started his coaching career at AS Djoliba before joining Rwandese side Rayon Sports. He then joined Kenya's AFC Leopards, before returning to Rwanda with the Mukura Victory.
He has also managed AS Kaloum of GUinea and Black Aces of South Africa.
He was sacked over a year ago from Leopards after he fell out with the management over set targets.
