While addressing a press conference in Bungoma on Monday, Khangati said that there was a general feeling in the public that the polls would be fraudulent.

''Many Kenyans have the notion that the coming polls will not be conducted in a free and fair manner after the changes were passed by only the Jubilee MPs,'' he said.

He condemned the way Jubilee Members of Parliament made amendments to the electoral law in favour of manual tallying.

The former Kanduyi MP also used the press brief to urge retired ACK Archbishop Eliud Wabukala to reject his recent nomination to head the EACC.

Khangati said that the post was only meant to hoodwink voters from the region without caring the reputation that would be soiled in the process.
