Immediate former Bandari FC tactician Paul Nkatah has landed a coaching role in his home country, Uganda, barely a month after being sent packing by the Kenya Premier League (KPL) side.Reports from Kawowo sports indicates that Ugandan Premier League side Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has appointed the veteran tactician as head coach with immediate effect, following the sacking of coach Ibrahim Kirya and the technical bench which was occasioned by a series of poor performances lately. The Ugandan arrived in Kenya in 2014 as Muhoroni Youth head coach before he was poached by league giants Tusker FC in 2015.He led the Brewers to a domestic treble in the very year where they bagged both the league title and the GOtv shield.Nkata would later abandon Tusker for Bandari in 2017. However, a disappointing campaign by the Dockers in the just concluded season earned him a dismissal from the club with his deputy Ken Odhiambo taking over as head coach.Bandari finished tenth on the KPL table with 40 points after 34 outings despite the club investing massively in new players in the previous transfer window.Nkata’s return to URA is however not a new affair as he had previously turned out for the club in his heydays as a midfielder. Is there a newsworthy accident, incident or event happening in Mombasa County that you want Hivisasa to cover?
