A former Cabinet Minster on Tuesday launched his political party ahead of the 2017 general election.
Mutua Katuku launched the People Trust Party, which is said to have been gazetted two weeks ago.
According to the former Mwala lawmaker, the party will be used to bring generational change in leadership and politics.
"Dictatorship and impunity has been preferred by a large propotion of the country's leadership over the democracy thereby rendering political organizations the preserve of personality cults and a small clique of sycophants," said Katuku.
He added that honest leaders had been replaced by corrupt individuals who were out to benefit at the expense of the common mwananchi.
"Honest and genuine leaders have been replaced by the corrupt and the rich who have interest in providing better lives for Kenyans," he added.
He further took a swipe at the newly launched Jubilee party stating that no consultations were made before affiliate parties were dissolved.
"Kenyans are tired of political parties that are nothing more than special purpose vehicles to elect selfish leaders or enclaves designed to protect tribal interests at the expense of national good," he added.
