Former Citizen News anchor Johnson Mwakazi has lost his job after the media house he was working for was declared bankrupt.
Mwakazi and other 50 journalists were working for WTV which has been in Kenya for only three years and aimed at giving financial advice.
Wholesome TV was declared bankrupt recently forcing its workers to go home.
Mwakazi joined the startup in 2014 after leaving Citizen TV for greener pastures.
Employees were told broadcasting had been suspended until further notice and production of programs therefore stopped.
According to Business Today, the station has been having some serious financial issues which saw employees miss their monthly salaries a few times, forcing some to ditch the station before the ship sunk.
