A well-known policeman who operates in the Githurai area is seeking acquittal following a murder case which took place back in 2013.
Titus Musila is known and respected all over the area for his fight against crime was arrested and accused of killing Kenneth Kimani in 2013 at the Githurai 45 bus stage.
Once residents were made aware of his arrest they went to the streets in a week long protest demanding that Musila aka Katitu be released.
A year before the incident took place; Katitu had shot and killed Kimani's brother, Oscar Muchoki following a robbery incident in the same area.
As a result Katitu is currently seeking his acquittal from the court and has begun to question who his colleagues have not been summoned to the court to testify.
He has continued to state his innocence and further insists that the bullet used to kill Kimani did not come from his gun.
